How it works
Reliably
The difference between Boongaloo and other chat apps is that when using Boongaloo you can be sure that the people you are communicating with are really inside the area you currently are in. Whenever you see a group listed near by you, this means at least one person is in the area right now. We don't show "deserted" areas.
Based on your current location
Wherever you are, you can instantly create a new group in the area you are in. You just select name, tags and radius ( if no other areas are around ) and you're ready to go. Except for that, you can join existing groups in your area.
No matter where you are on the map or the app menu, you can always create a new group. Fast and easy. Creating a new group goes in two directions. First one is when you are in a "deserted" area. This means that creating your group you're also creating a new area inside of which other groups can be added.
No group management. User has a single responsibility - Create a group.
But, how?
Whenever from wherever
This is the one direction you can go to. Except for that, we have cases where you are situated inside one or more areas. Then right after pushing the "Boongaloo" button you get a choice screen where you can proceed to the above case but you could also attach to already existing areas.
The second direction of creating new group is by selecting "ATTACH TO EXISTING AREAS" option. In this way you are still prompted to enter name and tags for your group but except for that you are provided with list of all the areas you are currently in. Then you have to select some of them and that's it. You have your group created but it doesn't automatically create a new area but just takes advantage of the already existing ones.
As you can see, the app remembers if you previously created a group in this particular area. So, now if you want you could quickly recreate it without having to enter name, tags etc.

Sometimes what you can see on the news or on the T.V. is not exactly what is happening. The atmosphere and the emotions going on there could be best presented by the people who area actually there. What if you could share your emotions and share them with the world directly. Now it is possible. You can now follow your favorite events and follow them as they are represented by the people who are actually there.
In the summer of 2016 we were on the seaside and somehow we had to find a hairdryer really quick. We didn't know anybody around but we were almost 100% sure that there's a lady out there somewhere who could help us. We knew that we would find one but it would be much easier if we could "shout it out" somehow.
Our Story
As time goes by, you can notice that human beings get more and more dependant on their mobile devices. Since we could do pretty much everything through our phone, why not to be able to anonymously ping all the people that are close to us? This is our goal. We are aiming to give the people ability to communicate with people who are really around them.
Our Vision
Our application sits on top of technologies that have been and used on the market for quite a long time and they can be totally trusted. Our product includes .NET framework, IOS and many others. For the future we are planning to create Android and Windows Phone versions of our product.
